Eligibility

Open to non-sanctioned middle school programs only — homeschool and private/independent school teams. Club teams are not eligible. Teams from TSSAA member schools (or other state athletic association member schools) are not eligible. This event is not affiliated with or sanctioned by the TSSAA.

Format

Eight pools of four. Pool play seeds a 16-team single-elimination bracket, with the top two teams from each pool advancing. The bracket is cross-pool, so there is no pool rematch before the championship.

Schedule Overview

Friday, April 16

4:30 PM: First pitch — local pools begin
4:30–10:15 PM: Two pool games per team, finished by 10:15 PM

Saturday, April 17

9:00 AM–5:45 PM: Travel pools play their full 3-game pool schedule (one trip, no back-to-back games)
6:00–8:45 PM: Local pools finish pool play

Sunday, April 18

9:00 & 10:30 AM: Round of 16
12:30 PM: Quarterfinals
2:30 PM: Semifinals
4:30 PM: Championship — rings ceremony to follow

Teams within about an hour are placed in Friday pools. Traveling teams are placed in Saturday pools so pool play is a single trip. Request your preference at registration.

Pricing

$350 entry per team
$300 early bird if paid by February 1
$50 off your second team

Gate Admission

$10 per day or $20 weekend pass. Players and coaches free.

Rules

75-minute games — finish the inning in progress when time expires.
Run rule: 12 after 3, 10 after 4, 8 after 5 (except the championship).
Tiebreakers: record, head-to-head, fewest runs allowed, run differential (max 8 per game), coin flip.

Weather Plan

Delays push the schedule later the same day. If Saturday cannot finish, remaining pool games move to Sunday at 8:00 AM and the bracket shifts back.
